MACHINE PROCEDURE

CLEANINGprocedure comprises a main program which passes through five cleaning steps.

  • It begins with pre-cleaning by spraying.

  • This is followed by main cleaning by PowerJet flood washing or optionally by ultrasound.

  • The third cleaning step is secondary cleaning, which is again carried out by spraying.

  • The immersion washing option is the fourth cleaning step in the form of flushing.

  • The fifth step is a repeat of the third.

DRYING is carried out as blow drying using ambient air with the options blow drying with hot air and vacuum drying. Vacuum drying can be employed as an alternative or additionally.

In the cleaning process the following types MOVEMENT are possible: Stationary, rotating or pivoting. With the letter the pivoting angle must be set. This facilitates “targeted” focusing of the cleaning process on particularly critical areas. Treatment times are adjustable.

TEMPERATURE of the washing and flushing medium during the cleaning program is approx. 60 - 70 °C. When blow drying with ambient air, the temperature is approx. 40 - 45 °C. Alternative blow drying with hot air and optional alternative or additional vacuum drying takes place in a temperature range of approx. 110 - 130°C.

PRESSURE FLOOD washing serves for additional support for cleaning and chip removal. This is especially the case with densely packed loose material and/or with parts with a complicated geometry. For further information see the chapter Options.

ULTRASONIC unit is intended to support cleaning and chip removal, especially for parts contaminated by grinding or polishing residue and other pigment dirt. For the support of ultrasonic cleaning the filling of the working chambers can also be carried out at or by means of negative pressure (option). This accelerates the outgassing of the medium and shortens the cycle time of the selected process. Further information can also be found in the chapter Options.

FILTRATION can take place using screen, bag or cartridge filters. Further information on filtration can be found in the chapter Options.

Further, added value for everyday use in production can be achieved, together with the user, due to the modular character of the PowerJet series:
high availability of entire system by use of standard components as well as tried and tested standard operations.
possibility to split all the processes into single units to reduce the risk of breakdown and to avoid the classical bottleneck effect.
compact and space-saving design to enable integration in existing processes.
ensuring energy-efficient operation and capacity-dependent expandability.
optimized process layout for effective reduction of media carry-over.
drying takes place with unsaturated and fully filtrated air.
basic modules with extension and upgrade option.
configured for high residual dirt requirements.
2-fold full-flow filtration.
